We are calling from the Wyoming Survey &amp; Analysis Center (WYSAC) at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwyo.edu\">University of Wyoming<\/a>.\u00a0 Our <a href=\"https:\/\/wysac.uwyo.edu\/wysac\/about\/survey-research\/\">Survey Research Center<\/a> operates a fully TCPA compliant in-house call center, equipped with staff, technology, and software to conduct computer-assisted telephone interview surveys.<\/p>\n<p>WYSAC is a charter member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aasro.org\/\">Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations<\/a> (AASRO) and fully subscribes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aapor.org\/Standards-Ethics\/AAPOR-Code-of-Ethics.aspx\">Code of Ethics<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aapor.org\">American Association for Public Opinion Research<\/a> (AAPOR).\u00a0 Confidentiality, accuracy and scientific rigor are always the top priority for all projects.<\/p>\n<h1>Frequently Asked Questions<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Q: What are you selling?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: We will <u>never<\/u> call to ask you for money or try and sell you anything.\u00a0 We only call for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwyo.edu\/research\/compliance\/human-subjects\/index.html\">Institutional Review Board<\/a> (IRB) approved research projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Who are you calling for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: WYSAC conducts research for a number of different state and federal agencies throughout the year.\u00a0 Current and past clients include the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/\">Center for Disease Control<\/a> (CDC), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/index.htm\">National Park Service<\/a> (NPS), the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwyo.edu\">University of Wyoming<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dot.state.wy.us\/home.html\">Wyoming Department of Transportation<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/health.wyo.gov\/\">Wyoming Department of Health<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dphhs.mt.gov\/\">Montana Department of Health<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndhealth.gov\/\">North Dakota Department of Health<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nmhealth.org\/\">New Mexico Department of Health<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cu.edu\/\">University of Colorado<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wyomingpbs.org\/\">Wyoming PBS<\/a>, and many, many more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: How did you get my number?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: For nearly all of our projects, telephone numbers are randomly generated by a scientific sample generation company.\u00a0 Random digits are appended to known area codes and prefixes. Our interviewers then hand dial that randomly generated number.
