We are calling from the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) at the University of Wyoming<\/a>.\u00a0 Our Survey Research Center<\/a> operates a fully TCPA compliant in-house call center, equipped with staff, technology, and software to conduct computer-assisted telephone interview surveys.<\/p>\n

WYSAC is a charter member of the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations<\/a> (AASRO) and fully subscribes to the Code of Ethics<\/a> of the American Association for Public Opinion Research<\/a> (AAPOR).\u00a0 Confidentiality, accuracy and scientific rigor are always the top priority for all projects.<\/p>\n

Q: What are you selling?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: We will never<\/u> call to ask you for money or try and sell you anything.\u00a0 We only call for Institutional Review Board<\/a> (IRB) approved research projects.<\/p>\n

Q: Who are you calling for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: WYSAC conducts research for a number of different state and federal agencies throughout the year.\u00a0 Current and past clients include the Center for Disease Control<\/a> (CDC), the National Park Service<\/a> (NPS), the University of Wyoming<\/a>, the Wyoming Department of Transportation<\/a>, the Wyoming Department of Health<\/a>, the Montana Department of Health<\/a>, the North Dakota Department of Health<\/a>, the New Mexico Department of Health<\/a>, the University of Colorado<\/a>, Wyoming PBS<\/a>, and many, many more.<\/p>\n

Q: How did you get my number?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: For nearly all of our projects, telephone numbers are randomly generated by a scientific sample generation company.\u00a0 Random digits are appended to known area codes and prefixes. Our interviewers then hand dial that randomly generated number. We didn\u2019t buy your number from a list, and we don\u2019t keep your number for anything after a project is completed.<\/p>\n

Q: How can I add my number to your Do Not Call list?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A: Any of our telephone interviewers would be happy to add your number to our in-house Do Not Call list; just ask<\/a>!\u00a0 Alternatively, you can email your phone number to us and ask us to add it to our list \u2013 just send a note to wysac.src@uwyo.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
