Customer Satisfaction with WYDOT

WYSAC recently presented to the Wyoming Department of Transportation the results of the latest WYDOT Customer Satisfaction Survey. This is the fourth iteration of the biennial statewide telephone survey that WYSAC has conducted for WYDOT, now covering the years from 2002 through 2008. The survey provides Wyoming citizens with the opportunity to express their opinions and perceptions about WYDOT and its services, and supplies WYDOT with valuable consumer perspectives to inform policy and to help them better serve the state. What is especially useful about this survey is that it allows the department to observe changes over time, including trends in citizen opinion and policy impact. Among the target items for data collection are overall satisfaction and highway maintenance; specific highway features (signage, rest areas, etc.); department administered services (licensing offices, the Wyoming Highway Patrol, etc.); communications with the public; and air travel and airports.
